I'll Keep This Brief
Les Savy Fav at the Bottom Lounge last night: nothing short of stupendous. Just spectacular. It beggars description.
Rigorous rock mayhem from an unassuming crew of RISD alums.
Simply phenomenal.
(Coming soon to a rock stage near you.)

I simply can't hurl enough superlatives re: Les Savy Fav. "Amazing live" actually sells them short. It was a revelation. A friend put it simply: "That's why I don't see other bands anymore."
Look forward to the word from the SITE Biennial. Wish I could make it as it looks right up my alley. (I read a real panning of it in Coagula the other day, but all the other press I've seen has been quite positive.)
Take your time shaking off that dust. I know the road to Denver all too well, I've done Denver-Santa Fe a couple times too—I can't even imagine the trek from Chicago to LA, routed through CO and NM, no doubt. 36 hours or so total?
Hard.
Core.
